I was up there June 23-25. The road was good and it was absolutely dead. Two mornings in a row I was able to catch 5 lake trout from shore. All of them were around 30-45cm.
Fished it last year,road was ok . A lot of fish following hooks as seen in sonar .
As soon as they smelt no bait, down they went .
Found most of the lakers straight down the middle of the lake.
You make it to the paddle derby this year.
Yes went to the Paddle Derby. Caught largest walleye at 6lbs 12 ounces. Largest pike was 125 cms. Weather was great and the Lions are sprucing up the campground.
I was again busy, moving into my new house.
My dad celebrated his 86 birthday there again,said the derby was on while he was there . Heard he out fished my two brothers again.Good to here the free firer wood is still included with price of stall.
