Hit the Calgary Easter Show if you can, as mentioned its the biggest in Canada and there's usually 850 tables. Some commecial vendors might take up a dozen, other privaterr hobbyists just one. Know your prices and don't overpay for stuff (some are notorious for this), but I guarantee you'll find something tempting. Bring cash to avoid the ATM lineup and transaction fee. Women and kids get in free.

My buddy has a booth, 20 tables, Said there will be 500 tables this year I believe. Last year they shortened it up to, it used to be the whole room, they had a curtain up last year.

I imagine with Ammo and Gun sales in the US there won't be many if any deals to be had at the show this year .

My plan is to hit the Calgary gun show first. If nothing interests me I'll stick with buying a Glock at the Calgary Shooting Centre.

I've had tables there myself in years past and I think you might be mistaken; perhaps your friend meant 500 vendors, being that many will have multiple tables. I managed to squeak in by getting on a call list they have in case of cancellations. There's usually a few vendors trying to get in, but it depends on the number of tables they need. There used to be an unrelated flea market or antique type show going on at the same time on the east side of the curtain. That show is no longer operating (at BMO, anyways) and the Arms show has migrated further south/east into that space as well. The curtain was always there, now they use one further down. I think the added space is nice, there's a few more rows of tables and they've incorporated that area with some tables to stop and have lunch at which was near the Korth Group booth for the last two years.

Calgary shooting Center has their glock days at the end of the month march 29/30 should be a huge event. Glock factory reps and the works there. Gun show should be a good place to buy accessories. Note after discussions with guys at the Center the rules for their show is no deals on any glock accessories not manufactured by glock during the event at the shooting Center so the bmo show will be a great place to buy gear.
