Perfect weather today with lots of rocky whites seen small and larger.
Nice part was that I managed to get into some AthB rainbows and a couple of bull trout. The bigger one knocked the small white off the hook and somehow managed to hook himself in the corner of the mouth. Not so lucky for him but what a fight for me! I sized him up against my fly rod so I could do a quick release. Turned out to be 25 inches. Maybe not a monster by bull trout standards but a true king of the river given the size of the water and the average size of the fish in the McLeod.

Pulled this out of the river. Who uses a jig like this in 3 FOW...some people...
I guess I'll save it for jigging for bottom fish on the ocean.
