Cabela's Regulator Question
Anyone else order one? Mine came today, in a plain cardboard box, no manual, no warranty card, no "original packaging". I'm thinking about sending it back as I can't help but think I got a demo.
Thanks.

Bows online
unless your a bow tech don't order bows online! Bows are individual items specific to you and like a nice suit must be fitted to fit you. Not sure, why people still buy online.
go back to Cabelas they have a shop there and make it fit for you at no cost or any other bow shop but they'll probably charge you
Good luck

Seeing how this is my first bow and I haven't nocked my first arrow yet, I consider it a success already as I at least got a laugh out of rpm360. ASAT Hunter, I'm not a bow tech but know a guy that tunes bows for clubs etc, I bought online because I'm on a budget and it was a decent starter rig for a good price. Thanks for the reply to my concern brohymn2, I was wondering if I was the only one that thought it horse****.

Those bows literally come to cabelas like that sometimes not even in plastic in the box, or the order was a "store to door" where they do take a bow from the shelf (could have been in the back room put together and never shot) or your right a "demo bow" which every bow in the cabelas store is since they want you to try the bows out before you shoot them. Either way should have still came with the manual. Feel free to return it they'll take it and give you another one and set it up to your draw length and prefered draw weight and if your still not satisfied you can get a full refund within 90 days. If you dont want to take that time out of shooting your bow here is the manual and warranty card. http://www.bowtecharchery.com/admin/...nual_web13.pdf

As mentioned they are all Demos..but doesnt nessasary mean its been shot...
One can tell..whats on string...looking at rest bolt hole one can see if rest was ever installed if not package deal...
There's a reason its a good price...no frills...lol
Manuals are ready availible on Bow Tech website...
http://bowtecharchery.com/m/pages/ma...y.php?i=0&r=-1
Most bows dont come with much more anymore...cardboard box maybe with logo on it...in plastic bag with manual usually...APA sends a hat, sticker manual, catalog etc...others dont

Bowtech, Hoyt, Prime, Elite, and a few others come with manuals and hat/sticker/type goodies with each new bow.
That being said I haven't bought a bow at Cabelas but I have a feeling the manual and box is what they can me with.
