Was fishing below graves boat launch tonight and stumbled on to what appeared to be a an old dump site. The bank has been severely cut away by the flood and exposed a ton of buried garbage. Mostly construction garbage plastic sheeting, wood, wire but most disturbing of all looks like some really old steel drums. I called the city to let them know but who else should I call the city only seems to care about what can be seen. it's kinda depressing to know that our city has let people landfill that close to the river. I shouldn't be surprised as how much garbage was left up at the wier when they demoed the low dam that was there originally there. Sorry but I'm kinda ****ed about it.
