Yup stick to the rivers...Babine, Kispiox, Bulkley! Smaller rivers like the Cranberry and Telkwa can be amazing too...watch out for bears on the Cranberry though, thick old growth forest right up to the banks feels like your in another world, bruins are everywhere! Buddy of mine from Idaho had a little nap on a nice bed of moss sporting a hangover from the night before woke up to a young grizzly licking his face!!

Lots of Bears.

I remember visiting a site where a grizz and a black bear had it out a couple of hours before.

Guess who won and guess who got eaten.

Have trolled Babine for Sockeye (last year was great, this year closed) and had my flyrod out the back for fun, caught some 3-4lb bows near Fulton River pulling an orange rooster-tail spinner. Have heard of lots of bigger ones, apparently the "mine" arm is supposed to be good, also big lake trout in there and even cutthroat.
