Default Question for the Trad Guru's

The other day I was out shooting my 59 kodiak reproduction recurve and the lower limb tip broke right at the string grooves. So I have tried contacting the bowyer about warranty information but have not heard back from them yet. Since I am waiting I will figure some other options as a back up plan, so my question is two fold.

1: Does anyone know if a custom bowyer could shorten the limbs, enforce the the limb tips and cut new string grooves, if so is there in a person in Canada that could do this?

2: If the limbs are no good, would it be possible to have the riser converted into a takedown, once again any knowledge on a bowyer that could perform the work. Even though this option might cost more than a new bow is worth it may be an interesting project.

If none of the above are possible then I will just have to go get a new bow.

Thanks for your suggestions.
