Anyone tried these arrows out? Any pro's or cons to them?

They use "outserts" on them I don't like those. My buddy had a few of them pill out in target butts. If you want skinny hunting arrows get the Easton injections Or new fmj deep six arrows

My buddy uses them. Pros are that they are smaller diameter so they theoretically penetrate better and are less succeptible to wind drift both due to the smaller cross sectional area for the most part. Only real con that I see is that you have to use their special inserts, and for a hunting set up it seemed to me that they were very heavy compared to conventional diameter arrows.

I did not see outserts, but rather an extended insert, that is where the extra weight comes from.

Why kind of nocks were you using? Maybe a pin nock would be more durable?

Default VAP arrows

Currently using them out of a PSE Omen Pro.......I too have a problem with them. The problem is that they blow through every target I have. They are truly unbelievable arrows and I've have had a couple of out serts bend but considering that they bent hitting the ground (rocks) I know that with my Gold Tips it would of meant another arrow in the garbage; instead, all I had to do was heat up the bend out sert and replace it.....good to go again. Great arrows

Like the small diameter, hate the outserts. After the season gonna get them swapped over to the Easton Deep Six HIT

Default VAP's

I bought VAP's to shoot out of my new APA M7, the penetration is impressive but I had issues getting them to tune. I found I was also having nocks break, I think because none of the factory ends (nock ends) were square! I stripped all the arrows and pulled all the outcerts squared both ends and put them back together and spin tested them. They flew better but the outcerts would bend very easily. I only have 3 good arrows left and I will never buy them again! Just my experience.

Thanks
