Default A few chronomid patterns from today

Stocking the box for next year as I never got out much this year. Here a few patterns I had to tie up as I was running low on them

Really nice ties, do you use a uv resin to finish them off? They look great

Now tie them pretty little patterns 2 to a hook. Yup two cronies on one hook. use mustad 9672 or 200R size 10 and 8 hooks or equivalent hooks. Try it and you will want to give me a big hug when you see how well they work.
MMMMM can you see yourself hugging a 6 ft. 200 lb. 72 year old guy? Even I can't see myself hugging a 6ft. 200lb. 72 year old guy. O well!!!

Great taper on your flies. What is your favorite technique to present them?

Great job on the Bugs...Curious if the "Rock Hard" gets cloudy at all or if it stays that clear for you?

Depends some days. I like using a slow sink line and a painfully slow retreive. I also hang them under a small indicator. My favorite is the retreive as the fish always seem to hammer it

Interesting...I've used the full sink but never the clear line. I will have to try that on the next experimenting day Great fun when fish take flies on the turn
