They Don't Make Fish Stringers Like that anymore!
Here is how I lost it,.... well I know where it is roughly but I won't be going back for it. My wife and I were fishing on a northern lake I had eight nice Rainbows three of which were in the three pound range. We pulled ashore to have our selves a fish feed. I put the fish next to the boat in the water to keep them fresh. Not long after I got the fire going a Black Bear came out of the trees went around us next to the water and of course the fish. The Bear seen movement in the water from my fish on the string it attracted him like a magnet. Last I seen of my string of fish Mr. Bear dragged them off into the bush.
I hastily put out the fire we climbed back into the boat and sailed away. Wifey will be talking about this for quite sometime. As for me the only bad thing that happened is I lost my fathers metal fish stringer. It was well over sixty years old they don't make Fish Stringers like that anymore!
