Default New Bow Martin Firecat.

Well picked up my new bow from swamp donkey man sure was nice all I did was have him measure me and have me tell him where to put my peep and I picked it up later paper tunned and all.

Set up consists of ....
- 2008 Martin firecat pro-x bow (335-345fps @ only 3.6 pounds with a 80% let off)
-Blackhawk Vapor pro series white tip arrows.
-G5 Striker 100 grain broadheads
-360 buckle foldback release
-Blackgold 5 pin (0.20") sight
-NAP sizzor release
-Kwikee Kwiver 4 arrow quiver

Supper smooth and quiet really happy so far!!

Cheers,
Mike

nice bow hope ya have fun and good luck with it! Shoot it through a crono and you'll really know how fast it is. 345fps is kinda fast with a hunting setup. My guess it's prob around 300 310 fps.Not triing to bad mouth your bow just all them numbers are at lightiest arrow highest pound bla bla.My x force at 70# is 305fps with my setup. If yours is faster your gonna have lots of fun .Next year they'll have bows that shoot " 400fps" really 350fps.lol

Ya the IBO speeds are usually out of whack pretty good but in comparison to my Martin sabre @IBO of 280 its a big step up!!!

All I know is that when I release the shot at 20 yards I cant see it fly its just in the target.

I would expect 310 -320 hopfully!!!

Mike where did you buy this bow? I didn't think there was a Martin Pro Shop in Edmonton and did you get a good price? I'm thinking about the Firecat or the Slayer X. I currently shoot a Cheetah but I'm getting a little selfish and fantasizing about another Martin.
