Default kananaskis lakes ice?
Anybody know of or hear if there's any ice on either of the kananaskis lakes. Was planning on heading out in two weeks if its good to go.

Generally don't see ice till late Dec.

copy thanks was out first time last year in march. trying to avoid 3' of snow on the ice this time.
At least for the first outing.

Upper K is still open with a small amount of ice beginning to form in some areas

Fished Lower K on the weekend. Was kinda slow between 2 of us we hooked 4 and never really marked anything else on the Marcum. Was about 6” of good ice.

What depth are you guys typically fishing on the lower Kan?
