Default best long weekend in a long time

made it to cranbrook to the bull river silhouette shooting club for a 2 day match.

shot 2 matches in the morning and 2 in the afternoon with rimfire. (80&80)

managed to win in hunter class; although i'm only a double a shooter in one and a in the other, maintained my average tho.

was pretty was wasted by the end of the day; a lot of shooting!

sunday was high power; 40 in morning and 40 in the aft. first time hi-power so wound with b classification, but had a blast. guess who needs to build a nes rifle now?!

looking forward to the rest of the summer.

kudos to the bull river club for a fantastic facility and a great bunch of members.

shoot ran smooth as clockwork and lots of help and pointers from experienced shooters.

Great job.
What kind of rim fire were you shooting and what is most commonly used do you think?
I just ask as I'm thinking of upgrading and getting into it.
Thanks.

i used my brno model 5 in hunter and rem 540xbr in silhouette. 6x scope on both; 1 burris and 1 lee u pold on the other. i'm gonna be testing a belgian t bolt as soon as i get rings; and will run it for both classes if it shoots.
will be putting together a 7 br for high power and running it in both classes as well.

it does. there were a lot of '0's on the scorecards; but my new shooting buddies felt better when they started seeing that is fairly normal for lower classified shooters.
on the other hand there were some fantastic scores; 35-37 out of 40 by a few guys; my hat is off to them!
