Default I'm not a great Toronto rooter

But what fantastic fans , that place was nuts.
I'm not sure I have seen a more bizarre game .
Came out good .

What. A. Game. Ahhhhhhh! So pumped!

Glad I made it back home from work to actually witness that 7th inning - good grief. One of those 'where were you?' moments for me. Bring on the ALCS!

Thumbs up

Not just a city was watching but the whole country held its breath and then went berserk.

Jays got beat by a good pitcher tonight, but did themselves no favours by watching a lot of second strikes that were good hitters. On to the next one.

I can't help but think someone from the crowd yelled "I got it". He seemed to instantly stop on that charge. What a different game that would've been with that easy out.

How could anyone hear anything in that ball park with all the noise?? Whatever it is, it don't matter now. I'm sure he feels pretty darn bad about it himself this evening. I can't imagine how he felt in the locker room after the game. But its only Game 2 outta 7. The series is still young and anything can happen.

Game day!! I have a feeling the election will provide an unfavourable result tonight, so hopefully the Jays can provide some happiness!

I have a feeling the jays will destroy them tonight.
And in other news why did Gibby sit by and watch Price get destroyed when we were only up by 3 yet he pulled RA in the one game when we were up
7-1 he said he saw something in RA or whatever and thats cool, but where was he with Price he went from putting on a clinic to blowing the game, maybe he didn`t feel like walking that far out to the mound who knows and ya Goins didnt help but man oh man it should be 1-1 oh well tonight will tell the tale.

Cecil getting injured is a big loss for Jays pen and is creating difficulty for Gibby now when he needs strong lefty relief. That's why he hooked Dickey w/ 7-1...the next several Texans due up had hit the heck out of Dickey around .400-.500...so he brought in Price. As far as leaving Price in last game, well without Cecil, Price was still a better lefty option then any choice in pen imo.
Loup is questionable at best imo.

The Jays will not make this round.I`m surprised they pulled the last one out of their butt. Quit cheering and go see a movie. They WILL let you down.

Choo and Beltre were a combined 4-4 vs Dickey that game, and it doesn't take much for an inning to get out of hand vs Dickey. Three or four hits strung together makes that game a whole lot closer than it needed to be. Add to that the Jays HAD to win (or they went home) and the lack of a lefty in the bullpen, I had no issue with game 4 of the ALDS.

Last game, Price had pitched an absolute gem to that point. ~65 pitches and cruising - no one was touching him. If Gibbons had pulled Price early in the 7th, it would have been a revolving door on the mound. I can't remember the Royals order, but Lowe/Loup/Tepera/ would have each faced one or two hitters to get the match ups, and if they don't get their guy out, you're soon out of pitchers (only Sanchez and Osuna left in the bullpen). The only issue I had with last game was pulling Sanchez for Loup vs a lefty, and then leaving Loup in to face a righty (bad, bad, bad, bad). Sanchez isn't great against lefties, but he's a helluva lot better against lefties than Loup is against righties....
