Once I get a final price, I'll take EMT's to recover costs and I think the rest should be sent to Ken. Not sure what other plans are for the money but if more deliveries are needed, i'm in.

Who do we send our money to. Dave helped my family when my daughter broke her neck, he is very caring person. What about books with outdoor related stories? Or a parking pass for Jan.

Hi there Fella Members ;

I'm Dave's Buddy and Neighbour and actually took the call from him
yesterday and drove him to the Hospital .
( us rednecks dont use the ambulances..... we laughed about that )
They rushed him in ASAP and he had the best of the best people
on it with nothing spared !!!

He's one tough SOB and I dont mind saying I was scarced
" SH*TLESS " thru the whole thing.
I wont go into to much detail but I stayed with him ( till his wife got home)
in the room for the first 11 doctor/nurses x-rays.... ECG ( X2 )
drips/ shots / pill and some things I didnt understand. And even Morphine.
I bailed out and went home after things got a bit tense.
Its a good thing we got there when we did.

Anyways..... His wife called late last night and he was resting
comfortably and he'll probably be there for a few days .
I'm on my way there now and will pass on everyones best
wishes etc. from his freinds from the forum .

Gilligan....

Thanks Gilligan, we are all rooting for him. I was scared when his Sister called me, can't imagine how it was for you.

Oh wow , this is horrible news , mud bug is one of the most helping members on this forum , right next to Ken . Hopefully he gets better sooner than later , at least he's in good care . Some pretty top notch dr's and nurses at the sturgeon hospital . That's where I went to get my head scanned when they though I had a tumor or something going on . Wasn't the case though .

Small update...I just heard from Gilligan and Dave is back in St.Albert and resting comfortably.

We raised a few bucks at wing night to help out with whatever is needed.

Best wishes to Dave from all the wing crew

No, sorry to give the wrong idea...he was at the U of A today and is back at the Sturgeon as far as I know.

I don't know what he wants shared so I won't say too much but as far as I know he's doing as well as can be expected.

If I learn anything else I'll post it up...

I'll always take money

So in talking with Ken earlier today, figured food stuff's wasn't so great for a man not long having a heart attack. On a PM from FM, I hit chapters and bought some books, a few magazines and a card signed "from your friends at AO". Didn't get all the names of the people that offered up a donation.

ABSOLUTELY -

I am in for any kind of help.

I am working all day tomorrow but have the weekend off. If anything needs to be picked up/delivered or whatever, SOMEONE please PM me.

I will also donate but again, a PM would be great.

Cripes, what crappy luck Dave has had lately! Great bunch here to help out, though!

THANK YOU GILLIGAN for the update!

Not sure how I missed this yesterday Ken but put me down for $20, more if needed. Hoping for a speedy recovery for MudBug.
