Patiently waiting at home for a call from a late driver so I can once more go back to the garage, service that darn tardy bus, get dips & meters read and finish a work day that started at 5:30 a.m.

What a change..about 2:00 pm the wind came up with gusts to 100 km/hr...the Bob Hope Classic got shut down.....and trees started falling. Thousands without power, many roads closed. No wine in the hot tub tonight, it's full of leaves and branches!

Finished getting my recording rig set up in preparation for working with a new 70's-80's hard rock cover band I will be working with. Wireless ipad control and a PILE of drums and microphones.

Organizing some electronics components that came in the mail for some guitar effects pedals I am building while I rehab from some back work Feb 10th.

Building up the motivation to go thread some pipe Monday for a gasline in a new home I am putting the plumbing and heating into.

Stuck at work, wishing I could be working on my two newly acquired Cooey .22s while I'm otherwise sitting here doing nothing.

Would really like to get on refinishing those stocks...

Cleaning out the frying pan after cooking brook trout, which I caught today, biggest ever! I know it's small for you southern Alberta guys, but a 3 lb brookie here is big.

Tasty too!

I'm trying to figure out how to open this bottle of "D'Aristi" (licor de anis y miel de abejas) I brought back from Mexico in 2008. If I don't post anything else in 20 minutes call the paramedics for me.

OH great. PLEASE tell me it's not derived from the agave and the saliva of tarantulas....

oh, who cares? It's all I've got right now. I'll give it a try.

Actually, it's derived from the sexual scent glands of large new world constrictors. Distilled of course, and other ingredients too that are combined, and vary by region.

I had no idea!
