Coyote at 900 yards
Set up a target at 900 yards a few days ago. I-Snipe App said dial up 16 moa. Fired 2 shots. Can't quite hit a Copenhagan can but within a couple inches. Good enough to hit a wolf. I replaced the target with a dead moose. No wolves have showed up yet but a coyote stopped by today. I-Snipe app read 16.25 moa with todays conditions. I was not really suprised to see the coyote fold up. .300 Rum, 210 VLD's at 3230 fps out of 29" barrel, 8-32x night force NXS,
Now hopefully them wolves come around. They are in trouble when they do.

This isnipe.. do you send in custom specs of scope to have it work?
I’m going to look into this.
Well done!

No just enter info. Make sure all info is accurate. Get perfect 200 yard zero then save zero conditions. Before you shoot each time hit the update daily variables so it adjusts todays conditions to your zero conditions. Then just dial the moa it provides you. It is flawless as long as you have the correct data entered into it.

You got those 210's smoking! That is a flat shooting set up. My 300 Win Mag with 215 Bergers at 3000 fps at my 1500 ft elevation takes 19.5 MOA to get to 900 yds.

Tough problem is coyotes/wolves have 16 hours of darkness this time of year. They will probably be sleeping in snow with a full belly for most of the daylight shooting hours. However hope you catch some during good light.

891
Just got another coyote. This one a little closer. 891 yards. Missed it about 20 minutes ago and it just came back. I think I had a bad squeeze first shot. When it came back I dry fired on it once before I sent one. Wife was watching out the kitchen window so I could not miss twice in a row or I might have been replaced. Lol
16.16 moa today with a -6 degree angle to target. I dialed to 16 even as my scope goes up 0.25 moa with each click.

He won't have an issue at all getting those wolves to bait. He's pretty good at it and has a pretty good setup where it is.

Ya. Lol. That is impressive. Even knowing the range / set up ...... that's so cool and awesome ..... hitting an animal ain't like a target , but guess after you kill enough yotes gets cold , man that load in your rum is kinda hot isn't it ? Oh wait ...29" barrel
I load my uncles with a 180 gr SST at book / estimate 3200 fps but 26" , 93 gr of RL25
Mind pm ing me your recipe with those 210s please. And good luck on the wolf

This load is not hot in this rifle. No pressure signs at all. Having a 29" custom barrel likely makes a big difference. 93 grains of retumbo. Norma brass. Fed 215 match primers. 20 thou off lands.
This is a big heavy rig at 16 pounds scoped. I would not be shooting this far with anything any lighter. Some can but not me. I am not a long range shooter so I need all the help I can get.
