Default Whole elk for bait

I shot a 6 point elk today after getting up to it i noticed that the rear leg was injured a few weeks ago probably a gunshot. Anyways got it out and brought it to the butcher in Longview and was told i should not eat it because it was infected they contacted the fish cops and i was told to get rid of it at a landfill or any other place i have permission to discard it. Now the question is does anybody want a whole bull elk (Minus the horns) for wolf bait or trapline bait.It does not Stink. I am located in South east Calgary. Must answer quickly because it will be going to the dump by noon Thursday.

Wish I was closer! JOHN R1 is in Calgary and he was interested in some scraps for bait in another thread. I sent him a PM for info.

who ever gets it, make sure you get a BOL from the donator and contact info for F&W who dealt with the issue.

Elk has been taken away thanks. Yes there was a letter and all was documented at the butcher shop in Longview.
