The sweetest part is doing it as damage control! Win...Win! Getting paid to trap, it doesn't get any better than that!

90% of my 80 yotes come off fence lines also...averaged over 100 for the last few years and had quite a few labeled.

Ive had decent luck snaring on fences. I tie off on a tree close by nice and high and they wrap up pretty quick.

On the land I trap the difficulty I have with fence snaring is the cows have the grass chewed down to the ground along the fences. So I have a hard time hiding the snare.

I get refusals all the time if there's not some grass to hide them in.

It seems like this has turned into a fence line snaring thread. That got me thinking about a thread from a couple of years ago when I was just learning how to do it properly. This Fella seems to do pretty good trapping fence lines.

Warning: This link may contain pictures of dead coyotes.

I looked at this pics . Wow !! I thought I was doing something wrong . But it just looks like these gays that catch a pile of yotes is because there so many there . Is there any deer or rabbits or grouse around ? Lol We had a 2" of snow 2 weeks ago and since then I found two sets of coyote tracks in 4 quarters of land .ill keep my snares up and maybe catch a few before spring
