Default low river conditions

I was wondering if anyone knows why the river levels are so low right now. I don't remember it being as low at this time last year. ????? I found my float last weekend difficult in some spots.

Call transalta! They screw with the river way too much IMO.

low snow pack in the mountains and not a lot of moisture for this time of year. unless we get some good rain or snow higher up in the mountains the levels are going to be low all year.

This time of year there is usually snow melt not just in the mountains and foothills. Most years snow is melting all over and we've been snow free for how long now??
