anyone of yall ever been to this creek it is just past the town of smoky lake and it dumps into the nsr check barry mitchels guide it says theres a good walleye hole at the mouth (although that book hasnt changed since the first time i bought it years ago ) lol not a very accurate book imo that is why i ask thx in advance and if i make it there ill definately post my findings good or bad
Although I've never fished there, chances are any of the mouths of creeks and drainages into the NSR are going to be good for fishing, be it wallys, pike, or whatever...
There is no real hole at the confluence of White Earth crk and the NSR. By the time the creek gets down in the river flats it is hardly moving at all. Basically it is a tea or pee stained creek (from the cow pasture run off). I was there last year and it was about foot and a half deep....you could walk across it and not get your knees wet.
You are close but need to be on south shore where river makes a bend lots of walleye and big goldeye just downstream of old crossing. That is the free hotspot for this week.
