Default Need Help

My Brother in Ontario is giving me his 300 win Mag and I don't know what needs to be done to have it Shipped to me here in Alberta. I would like some Guideance on what I have to do to have it shipped out.

If this is a permanent thing have him transfer the registration from him to you by calling the CFC at 1 800-731-4000. He will ned your PAL# Full name,address, postal code and phone number.
Once that is done he can package it up and ship it to you with Canada Post.
NO ammo ofcourse, and I would highly recommend him shipping it "signature required" so your posty does not just leave it at your door and carry on his route.
We ship guns all over Canada with Canada Post and have yet to have a problem.

I get the owner to send a copy of the registration and a letter in the package also, that way you can legally have it till it is transfered.
Unless it is going in a hard ase, would also rcommend taking he gun apart and shipping it in two pieces, that way tere is little chanc of them breking the stock.
it has happened twice tha i know of in the last year.

Good Bro ya got there....and a 300wmag to boot. Definately one of my top 37 calibres!!!! (actually breaks the top 5)....enjoy it!!!
