He told me he thought he was on his line and he argued with me about it,so I pulled out my maps and showed him he was 3.5 miles away from his line

can you burn the cabins ... salvage what you want or is it a legal battle ... would really have to put a burr in a guys blanket to find someone trappin your line .... what did he say when you showed him the maps?

I really hope F&W take a hard stand against this guy as they were and are clearly in the wrong.
Sounds like your a stand up guy out trapping your line honestly and have been more than patient over this cabin fiasco.

That sucks! I would take action right away get these guys dealtwith. RCMP or Fish and Game or not. Do what you have to or these guys are going to run you out. I wish I lived close to you I would come and help you out. Those guys are ???? and should be dealt with.

I just got a call from fish and wildlife they are going to charge them in the morning and are going to post both cabins and burn them in30 days

He tried to tell me he had no idea he was on my line,fish and wildlife told me he is given a map every year when he renews his line,there is quite a few oil and gas wells in the area to which you can reference your position to so there is no excuse

I'm very happy to hear F&W got back to you with good news.
Please keep us posted as to what happens with the cabins. Hopefully they do burn them down.
I know if I had done that on my neighbors trapline, I would expect that to happen. We all know the rules and your right, there is no exuse.

Better to burn them to the ground. Don't kid yourselves a holes like will be back. If not to play with your traps it will be to be to get even for the lose of their so called cabins. Is that soft enough MODS? You should be correcting everyone short hand not just mine.

I hope they get what coming to them. There are no excuses for this and they should pay dearly. I just hope they don't get mouthy and give you problems in the future. Hope your season goes well!
