Lure question

Need advise- where to put lure when using weasel boxes, lynx cubbies and how about canines?
We usually snare coyotes on travel routes or around bait (this years lack of snow making it difficult), never trapped lynx and it's our first year trying for weasel. Any help is appreciated.
