Default Thinking of getting back into the furs

Not like I got enough to do on the weekends but after a month of sitting on stand waiting on a big ole buck that never did show up there is definately no shortage of red squirrels in the area. Could be a good way of making the winter go by a little faster and putting some balance back into the woods. A little bit of extra coin wouldn't hurt either. I think I still know where all my squirrel boards from my youth are... unless dad got tired of looking at them and burnt them in the wood stove. lol. Haven't had a resident trappers licence in a long time. Still the same process in getting one at the local F&W office?

No reason why anything should have changed. Land description, land owners consent and probably a trappers course, unless you have one. Enjoy....

Lol, took a trappers course back when I don't think I even needed one to buy a licence. Just wanted to see how others did stuff than my trapper cousin that I followed around at that time. That was a fun little course, when it was time to bring a critter in to skin all I could find in my traps that day was a ermine. lol. The skinning instuctor couldn't emphasize to me more than not to cut into the scent sacks. lol. Was pretty nervous skinning that weasel. lol
