Default How'd you all do on the weekend?

Hi everyone

I fished Prairie Creek near Rocky to the confluence with the Clearwater and a bit in Clearwater itself. I only manged one small whitefish out of Prairie Creek on the Saturday. Water in both streams in quite low and clear. I was mostly nymphing (pheasant tail, hares ear, copper john, stoneflies, etc) with some streamers (wooly bugger, leeches). I chatted with a couple people who didn't catch anything.

Anyone have any updates from the weekend? Seemed like a slow one for most people

Sounds good

That's it! I'm outta here...

Heading out tomorrow morning to Montana. Plan to check out the Big Horn and then the Beaverhill. Might have waiting too long if spring run off is in full force.

After that, Henry's Fork in Idaho. I've read the reports from 2 days ago and fishing is really good right now.

After that, I'm hoping to catch my first Bass in Arizona on the fly.

Looking forwards to seeing some new sights and water.

Cheers!

If you're hitting Montana, swing by the lower Madison below Ennis Dam right now. You will not be disappointed. Mother's Day Caddis hatch is wild right now. Can't keep the fish off. Beaverhead is good, but can't comment on any others. Most are pretty full right now.

Default Weekend fishing

I floated the Bow from the Fish creek launch to policeman's on Friday with a buddy. I had no luck, while he had 2 on, both got off. Floated Glenmore to fish creek on Sunday with a buddy. One whitefish each... Slow weekend.

Fished the Bow on Sunday, also slow for me. Caught a pretty decent pike on a Bow River bugger, but that was all the action for the day.

I probably saw my indicator drop about 100 times over the course of 2 days on my favourite lake. Lots of rainbows to 24" and a couple of hog brook trout.
