Tikka 7 rem mag bolt
Asking for a friend of mine,
He lost his bolt for his rifle in a house fire, where would you suggest starting to try and find one for his rifle.

He will likely have to get a gunsmith to order one from Stoeger, as they might not sell directly to a customer, without knowing that the headspace will be checked.

First you have to know the model.
M65, M658, M695 or T3

My neighbour broke the bolt on his T3 (long story) and had to send the rifle to Stoeger for replacement. They would not sell a bolt...they fitted and checked headspace.
Job cost $550! Stoeger paid return shipping.

I'd sell it for parts and buy a new one.

Buy another T3 in some other magnum and chances are the bolt will headspace in both. Have that checked of course.
Years ago I found a 700 in 30-06 missing the bolt, turned out the bolt from a 25-06 700 I had headspaced in the 30-06....you can only shoot one at a time anyway.

This is one reason why I don't store the bolts separate from my firearms. But you might advertise on the buy&sell, and on the gunnutz EE, as someone that stores their bolts separate, may have had their firearms stolen, and may still have the bolts. Then, you would just need to get the headspace checked.

Sold my mod 54 7mm because the guy had lost the bolt for his 06, and was hoping the bolt would fit both guns, his mod 54 30-06.Never heard back from him.
