Default Tikka M55 barrel/action removal?

I have one and want to strip the varnish and then refinish the stock in oil. Want the action out of the stock for this.
I have read that reassembly of the bottom metal is tricky. Has anyone done this on one? I would appreciate any guidance.
Thanks
Vance

Going from memory
There are 3 screws to remove
1 at the bottom front of the magazine housing
1 at the top of the rear of the
Receiver
1under the magazine catch
Don’t lose the magazine catch spring
Good luck

The above from FPS is correct.

If anyone has insight on the proper order to torque the action screws during reassembly, I would appreciate it.

yes you dont want to break the stock on first firing. Small tip, keep screws loose, assemble with muzzle facing ceiling, but on table. Hand tighten front guard screw first, tang next, trigger front screw only snug tight with a drop of blue loctite so it doesn't come loose.

one of the major reasons stocks break is a gap behind the lug...impact is tough on stocks.

This is what I thought, thank you.
