Legal status of trapping in Calgary?

Howdy folks,

What is the legal status of trapping pest animals (squirrels, magpies, etc) in the city of Calgary?


In Edmonton it is legal but I am not sure about Calgary.

Tons of trapping happening in Calgary under permits, probably tons without! Call the Fish cops and ask them. It'll be them after you if they don't like what you are doing.
