Safety First!!
2 friends ice fishing at Little Bow Provincial Park today while the ice is near or less than 2". They walked away from others and fall through ice. One was rescued out right away while the other one is gone forever.
Great pain to the family.
Everyone
SAFETY FIRST!

Geez I was fishing at Little Bow yesterday afternoon and it was 4" thick north of the docks but really open water around the poles. Even though there were about 20 others around me, I still tested the ice as I walked out.
When I heard the news, I thought it might have been this guy at MacGregor yesterday who is way more hardcore than I ever was.

That looks like he is fishing in the open water still left. Why not stay on the dam and do that. Mind boggling for sure!! Maybe he just upped his life insurance policy couple months ago
