Bacon Wrapped Chicken Cordon Bleu. Smoked on the Louisiana pellet grill with New England Apple pellets for 4 hours at 190 degrees. Then 1 hour at 300 degrees to crisp up the bacon. Sooo good there wasn’t a morsel left on the platter not even a sample left for the dog.

Default Just a fluke

Having some folks over for a Xmas drink tonight that were downsized from our Eggs Benny Xmas brunch on Saturday.

So, since I have a litre of leftover Hollandaise in the fridge, I decided to place a dollop of chilled hollandaise onto the center of salami slices, fold in half and pinch the ends like a whale fluke.

Kind of like a Eggs Benny Brunch -sort of but Keto
Now stop your whining about the invite

A few test samples-now I know they taste good, I will pipe out the hollandaise to make a platter of pretty ones.

Traditional (for us) Christmas Eve Fondue. Free Range Lamb, Free Range Chicken, Whitetail Tenderloin, Free Range Pork Tenderloin and all the veggies!

Served with a good Red by Candlelight of course!

Awesome as usual, and once again no room for dessert!!

Cheers,

Step daughter hosted her first Xmas dinner tonight.A year ago we weren't sure she would still be here after the removal of a large brain tumor.
But she pulled off a great dinner and hosted a small group of fellow Brain Tumor Cancer survivors.I was there for moral and sous-chef support.

Jealous

I’m having deer burgers and bannock buns.
Mother in law is here
Hoping she doesn’t dry it out. But that’s what beer is for.
Can’t complain when someone is cooking for you.

I only lost 25lbs since June, mostly lost in the first 2 months. But I continue because I love how I feel jointwise. Walking a Gout tightrope, so I don't push protein too high.
Slid during the holidays-not so much food wise-but had too many beverages.
Gained 3lbs back over the holidays-So now I re-focus.
All good.

I'm afraid to ask what you use to push the food with.

Spicy Moose Tacos... Keto style. Shells made with shredded cheddar cheese baked and hung over a wooden spoon handle. Fresh veg and jalapeño, scotch bonnet and Thai chilies. Tequila is the extinguisher
