Default On the Ice - Perch Catch/Cook

Wicked day out! And yes all scraps were cleaned up and removed before we left the ice! Tight lines!

Are perch the best tasting still water fish in Alberta? I think so, what's your favorite?

Perch and walleye are my fav but there is nothing wrong with pike from the cold northern lakes.
Well done, looks delicious.
Question, what was the point of soaking in egg when they were already soaked in Franks? They would have been moist for the flour already, no?
Anyway, looked like a great day.
Thanks for posting. Hope to find a perch lake in southern Ab to take the kids to this winter.

Ah yes I'd agree unless way up in the mountains! Thanks, it helps the flour stick better and just makes it taste even better who doesn't like eggs! Thanks for watching and I'm sure you can find one with stunted perch like this one.
