If the power you get to charge your car comes form a grid supplied with natural gas or coal you are not doing the environnrt any better then driving a gas vehicle

I'm not a greenie my reasons for buying it are purely for my own gratitude. Until I retire and walk to and from the beach I will need wheels.

I would consider driving an all electric truck. Not because I feel like I am saving the environment. That is just silly. For me it would probably end up as a net savings long term. My commute is 200km's/day (100km each way) so the fuel savings would be huge. All my driving is city and highway and I do not use my truck for anything but driving and loading with tires and wheels etc so I think it would be potentially a good option. I will need to see what the range etc is once this is finally available on the market but I am interested.

Obviously there are scenario's where an EV does not make sense, but I think I will probbly be the target market with the type of use I see.

After 10 years of production to work out the bugs and lower prices to affordable levels I could see owning one.
