Default Offset jaws

Offset jaws on a trap don’t do anything! Change my mind?

For sure in the olden days they helped. Possibly in modern times on traps with insane power they may have value??? With double laminated CDN jaw traps properly powered I do believe your diagnosis would be relatively accurate. With CDN jaws, physics would dictate that the levers would come up a hair higher with offsets than without, negligible no doubt.
