The problem with Keens, is that I dont think they are neccessarily made in the same factory, to the same quality standards, from year to year.
My first pair of Keen shoes (not the model in question) was fantastic, very comfortable and they lasted several years. I went and bought the exact same shoes a few years later, and on close inspection they were slightly different, more holes for the laces and things like that. Those shoes fell apart in less than 6 months. Have not bothered with this brand since.
