Is it legal to sell a trophy Whitetail mount that is 15 years old or do I need a permit

Permit needed, then you have to wait 3 years. And it's not worth anywhere even close to what you think it is. There is a group on Facebook that has tons of them for sale. Have a look at it and you'll see your mount is not likely worth the hassle. Just search mounts for sale you should find it. And don't try to sell it quietly. It's low hanging fruit for the fish cops. They love to chase that one as it's an easy conviction for very little investment. We've seen it on this forum a few times. Funny they'll grab onto those cases like a lab on a soup bone but ignore the paid hunting cases which are every bit as easy to pursue.
