Default Peter Lougheed park wolf takes down bighorn lamb on video

Very cool video of a single wolf taking down a bighorn lamb and drags it off to the woods. Apparently filmed just days ago.

Someone is going to need therapy, and having nightmares of being attacked by a large wild dog!

Angry Wolf

More and more wolves equals less and less sheep/moose/elk/deer.

cry cry cry, crazy, jump out and throw rocks at the big bad wolf, hit it in the head and maybe save other lambs, or step on the gas and hit the wolf before it gets to the lamb, just my take on this video

It's a wild world out there!! Great video, if it weren't for the shocked lady whining through the whole thing. Better to watch this one with the sound off!!

Typical road hunters. Cut right in front of that other car to make his kill.

Trouble with that video is non informed people might think wolf kills are all that quick and painless . Not the slow cruel usual methods

I agree with what you are saying, paints a pretty picture that the uninformed would chalk up to the wild and wolves need to eat too, without really understanding how that lamb is going to be eaten.
Most of the non informed watching would not see that lamb is not dead yet, you can see it lift its head as its dragged over the last rise before going out of view. It also looks like it try's to jump to its feet by that little pine tree.
You can see the wolves head to the right and a second later the lambs rump is up and there is a struggle with the trees shaking.

Apparently getting a little too friendly with the tourists in Banff.
