All donations to the Red Cross will be matched by the Alberta government.
My Ft. Mac refugees arrived late last night, I pulled my trailer out of storage and set it up in the back yard its going to be good to have some friends and kids stay over for a while. Their home survived (so far) uncertain when life will be back to normal but the important thing everybody is safe,

My thoughts on that too, even before I read it. On the other hand, companies like Telus are quietly handing out up to 1000 cell phones to those that need communication, no publicity, no social media comment. Just doing it quietly.

The federal gov't will match individual donations made to the Red Cross.

Will donations to the Rebel's campaign qualify for the matching dollars?

Usual bellyaching. Did someone bother to ask author if RC has paid employees and what's their admin overhead? (Hint: RC, as the UN, UNESCO,WHO, and many other charities and NGOs have abhorrent track record in this field)
