No Shotgun or Muzzle This Year in 248?

Finally picked up the draw booklet and was looking through it. On pg. 56 they talk about additional archery-only non-draw license seasons. In the past I thought that it was here that they mentioned the use of shotgun and muzzle loaders in 248 for a specified time. I don't see it this year. Is it mentioned somewhere else, or might it be mentioned when official regs come out, or have they done away with it alltogether? Thanks

Yes there is that one. I'm referring to the additional hunting oppurtunities that we have had the last several years for Whitetails.

I thought that was a general, non draw tag. Might be why it's not in the draw booklet! Could be wrong though?

It's posted under the strathcona whitetail deer , on the license breakdown page 50 is what it's showing on the pdf file I saw. You do not have to draw for it!

On page 56 the Strathcona Whitetail Deer season from Oct25-Dec7 is listed under "Archery Only" additional seasons. Does that mean that there is no longer a primitive season for those tags?

I always love a discussion on 248/strath regs. Guess I'll wait and see. Personally I would miss having the chance to use the new Mossberg pump with dedicated rifled barrell and scope that I just bought (traded for) recently.

I for one would like to see that shut down. IMO not enough deer to justify that season.
