Default Chain saws

Guys, forgot to mention reliability of the Husky saws. My two favorites are husky 61 manufactured in late 60's early 70's. Start on second pull and really honk wood with 24 inch bars. Still going strong just like me. My partner bought couple used XP professional saws only payed $20 for one, they are $1000 saws so watch used market.

If you want total reliability get a 5 or 6 foot long swede saw. A little more elbow grease required but it doesn't break down. Just sharpen or change the blade. A sharp swede saw goes thru a 10" log in 4 or 5 stokes. At least get one for back up.

Otherwise, some stihl chainsaws have attachments which make them multi use.
You can get drill, pump, and other attachments that fit on the saw.

I know nothing about saws really. I want something to cut a pile of wood for the cabin but light enough and not overkill to clear trails. I see that they don't make 340's anymore that i can see. It looks like 435 and 440 is more in line with what I should buy without getting too crazy. i know everyone has an opinion on a saw so I thought i would see what you guys prefer for what i mentioned.
I've got the 445e model. It has a decompression switch and also no tool required to adjust/remove the bar. The only con is that it tends to have a slow bar oil leak so make sure and top it up each time before you use it.

Have heard that some saws are not too friendly to the vibration and rattling around when being hauled on a quad or toboggan ? I thought a carb was a carb but supposedly some can't take the abuse ?
