If anyone can help on non-resident pronghorn info ( if it's available ? / draw ? $ etc )
Pronghorn is on the list of wants and to do's and was just wondering if anyone had some insight on hunting them in Alberta.

http://www.albertaregulations.ca/

You'll need someone (an Alberta resident to be a hunter host). You'd be a non-resident canadian.

Start getting into the draws and boost your priority, you'll need a 4,5,6,7 for the best chances.

You can always go the guided trip thing and bypass the 4 year wait I suppose.

By-pass Alberta alltogether and head South my son, to Montana or Wyoming.

You will have multiple options for guaranteed tags and it can be as simple as phoning an outfitter and arranging a hunt or as complex as ordering some maps and planning a hunt on your own.

Tons more lopes south of Alberta.

Listen to Abduknut and head to Montana. I looked into it myself and you will get a permit much quicker there and you dont need to hire an outfitter. Lots of public land access, tags are $205 and the success rate for non residents is usually the first year applied for or the next year for sure. I was there in the first week of Oct to pick up my pup and seen way more Antelopes acroos the border then in Alberta. The kennel owner where i bought my my dog from invited me back to hunt lopes when i get drawn as he saw me drool over the 16 incher he had on his wall.

^^^^What he said, I know Wyoming is really easy to get into to hunt and you can almost throw a rock and hit a lope.

Doesn't hurt to keep putting in priority for them here as a few years down the road be nice to not have to travel so far to get one.
