We're just about done water bird hunting here.

It was below freezing all weekend and most still water is frozen now. We got a bit of a snow storm Fri and Sat night as well. Sat my boy and I sat out on the Yukon river and froze and just about got skunked on birds. We went back to the barley field and did better on mallards yesterday. He said he loves that dryland shooting! A few pictures...

I like that picture too. He had such a good time that day and it is just the way I want to remember it.

And make sure you look me up Kelowna Rob. Any idea when you'll be up? I'll be at Tagish for most of JUly - end of June until Aug 1 st or so, depending on the sheep hunt situation. I usually do a fly in with my son for the opener.
