Default Track Identification Help?

This morning the family and I went to town for a bit we left at around 10:00am and got back around 2pm. Upon returning I noticed some tracks around the house and on the deck that weren't there when we left. We are northwest of Sundre out by Bearberry.
My best guess is Coyote? as there are no dogs small enough around here for this size track. They are way to big and wrong shape to be any of the barn cats. but I honestly have no idea.
I was wondering if someone with more experience in tracks could help me out here?
Thank you in advance for any help.

If I had to guess, it would be a fox.

Are there racoons in Red Deer? Because it's definitely not a racoon. I'd guess a fox or someones' miniature dog...

Coyote looks pretty close, you might be right...

and the dimensions are close...
Track: 6.5 cm (2.6 in) long / 5.5 cm (2.2 in) wide

I originally thought marten or fisher, but the weasel family appears to show 5 toes.

Edit: I think Kristopher10 has it right as fox tracks would be closer to the size shown in your pictures.

well its not a Cat. Rarely do you see claws on cat tracks. Too small for a wolf, my guess would be Coyote or a large fox.

Fox. Probably a vixen scouting out a place to nest in in a few weeks.

My trapper guess it is a fox. They will come within 10 feet of our home in country looking for our cats. Final confirmation are the steps in a streight line, one foot right behind the other, then fox.
