Default Muskiki & Fairfax on a rainy day

this getting coup-up cause its raining

had too stop

Chris ask if I wanted too go fishing

I am in was my reply

left at day lite

saw a couple kits and mom Cross Fox & a few WT on way

fish were rising at Muskiki and the Loons came too visit as we got ready

off we went ..action was fast ..but the misses piled up

some 14 to 15s inches then a 17 incher and shortly after that a 16 1/2

Chris fished to boat launch and got another ....off too Fairfax

Rainbow were rising every where as the break in the storms hit us

got a few too ended the day then a storm chased us from the lake

Fun fun fun

Was out to that area recently- nice cutties. So nice to see the horses gaining weight, they get real skinny during winter.

Yes they are the native's horses. I don't believe it is a reserve though, just a squatters camp that was set up years ago.

The community close by is known as "Small Boys" and is a group that were part of Enoch. Sadly neglected as are the horses. The horses graze all over the area and by late summer gain weight and look fairly healthy.

It was to my knowledge that they are wild horses! They do not belong to anyone, am I wrong?

Not real wild horses, they are feral horses. They were brought there by the natives when they moved out there, some are tame and the Indians use them occasionally, they never fenced them, most of them have turned feral and wander about the area. Take a can of oats up there, when you see horses give it a shake, some will come running when they hear it and some will take off.
