Default Need opinions Franchi Affinity 3

Hey guys, been doing a lot of research and wanted to get feedback from people that have the Franchi affinity 3 12G or know someone whos had one etc.

Any relevant info appreciated. Any issues? Happy with it? How long it has been or how many shells? Likely wont do an enormous amount of shooting but i want it to be reliable/long term, and after handling many guns it seems to fit the best.

Thanks!

Good guns. Pretty much identical to the Benelli M2.

If this is true, I have a M2 you could feel and shoot.

Default seems to fit best?

Many people buy based on brand or price and don't consider fit until after the purchase. so if it really fits you best that is probably the gun for you. If you dont know proper fit and are just thinking it feels good I would visit a quality dealer and actually have him fit you to a shotgun or at least show you how you can properly judge "fit" for yourself. Only other common error I see is guys who plan to shoot a low amount of shells but rush into a 12 gauge right off. a 20 is usually a better gun for a new shooter, shells are only moderately more expensive and you can fine tune your wing shooting ability without taking the 12 gauge noise and recoil. Pattern and velocity are very similar so unless you plan hard core goose hunting many people make a 20 gauge work just fine.

I bought my son a affinity 3 in 20 gauge a few years ago and it is a great shooting gun. It actually now comes pheasant hunting with me quite often as it is very light weight and great to carry all day. Very nice gun for the price.

Default Franchi

I have an outfitter buddy using them in his camp, they see plenty of ammo each fall

Default affinity

good guns, light and its kick reflects that. the but pad is molded so is not easily swapped out. that's my only with that gun. I have directed a few friends in that direction and they are all happy. the Affinities cycle just as well as my Benelli
