Default Water levels around the province

I think I know the answer to this already.
I have been out fishing to some local ponds three times this year. Already bored of it and need to get away for the day.

I’m guessing most streams in the RMH/Caroline/Nordegg areas are too high, but I could always hit a pond out the way.

My other option is go to Jasper and have a relaxing afternoon at Pyramid Lake, but I know from last year after a rain that lake is a a pain too.

Anyone have any suggestions within 3.5-4 hours from Edmonton? Thanks

Was on the red deer river last weekend and it was high and muddy.

Still closed to visitors. I'm trying to find any information regarding fishing come 1-June but nothing useful yet. I'll probably call today to see what day use options may open up.
