Default Great line check

Started out the morning catching a nice female red fox in a milk crate set along the river! Nice catch in a 330! Got halfway down the line and found a marten in the box! Sweet that makes 11! Then did my south east line where I was hoping to find some lynx snagged up! No luck there! Finished off the last 2 legs of my line but did it backwards as I wanted to check the spot where a lynx ate my fox last trip out!! I left a nice little softcatch there for him and lucky me, he found it! My first lynx in a foothold! Well as luck would have it on the last leg of the line, I found 2 more lynx in #3 soft! Wow 3 live lynx!! But... I ran out of 22 shells on #2!! What to do? Well I chased the big Tom around the tree he was tethered to and had to give him a whack! All in all an exciting day!

Mark I don't shoot lynx in a foothold. I slip a snare or loop of twine over their head and slowly pull it tight. A lynx will pass away very quickly.
