Default new to hunting

hi there single dad here looking for someone to help me with getting into hunting and looking to make some hunting buddies

plus is there any hunters willing to share any wild game meet i will be happy to take some so me and my son have food to eat i always wanted to try wild game



i have my win card what is the next step i have to take b4 i can start huntiing

Welcome to hunting.

Now that you have your Win card you will need to take a hunter education course, its available online through AHEIA Alberta. Then if you plan to use firearms a pals course or find someone willing to let you shoot under your lisence. Good luck!

Welcome to AO forums. And welcome to hunting.

It would help is you gave some idea of where you live. Nothing specific, just a general area.

Wild meat is low far and requires different cooking techniques then domestic meat.

A good wild game cook book or a half dozen would be a good place to start learning how to cook it.
A mentor is an even bigger help.

And there are some very good wild game recipes here. The search function should find them.
