Default Pigeons wanted

Hi guys anyone know where to get some pigeons for training dogs. I just noticed RedFrog has posted about some In lacombe but unfortunately it's further than I'd like to go but who knows maybe I might take him up on it if I can't find any. I'm south of Calgary so anywhere around the city or outlying areas. Thanks in advance.

What I have done in the past was to find some old barns with pigeons on them by driving around then get permission. I have never been turned down yet to catch some. Wait until dark then go in with a spotlight and a net.

It's actually pretty fun. Also if you catch them close enough to your training grounds they often fly back to be caught again.

Default Thx

Yeah, that's my last resort. I don't really want to catch them if I don't have to.

Smile Hutterite colony

We've bought some from the Hutterites near Cayley for our dog club. They catch them and you pay 55.00 per.

It's a typo, it should read $5 each.
