Default Wolf Call

Can someone recommend a wolf call to use. I have heard of folks using deer/elk/moose in distress calls. Looking for one that is proven effective.

All those sounds work, but are not legal on an electronic caller. Hand calls are fine.

normal elk calls work fine and carry a long ways. Setup is more important as they tend to circle a long ways down wind.

I use a Primos reed Elk call then do a distress squeal of a Cow Elk or calf

also have got them too come in with a hands only Moose call

also have done Wolf call with hands many times

here is a sequence of pictures as I called this one to the shore line ..you can see as its listen to me call and moan

I had called the night before doing Wolf howls every 10 minutes at 11pm at night ..the picture's are the next morning and that's my tent and truck n trailer..no one was at the lake but myself camping

enjoy

ps I have lots of other experience and pic's stories of wolf encounters just ask

David
